I enjoy social activism, however I do not enjoy it when the activists compare their situations to past social activism times

I feel like social activism should be peaceful protesters and showing that they want a change. Sometimes riots are necessary, but it could ruin the reputation of your social activist group.

I agree with everything except for riots. Violence is not the answer and should be avoided at all costs.

Riots are necessary on the rare occasion, but is generally an undesirable thing, even under oppressive governments.

I agree with this response because I do believe that social activism is definitely a good thing but when they are borderline riots they are no longer acceptable or useful/necessary.
